About The 'Beats'

Mini Beats is a company derived from our passion of bringing music and movement education to kindergarten-aged children. We believe that introducing this to children from a young age enhances their education whilst encouraging further musical discoveries after their time at Mini Beats.

Mini Beats’ founders, Nick Plant and Cecilia Ip, are not only passionate about live music, singing and dancing but also in the teaching and development of these areas to children.

Nick has attended choirs and theatre programs from an early age, and has previously undertaken Camp America, a program strong in the education of youth and leadership. Coming from a business background, he is also experienced in planning, organising and coordinating corporate and social events, including a Family Day for 500 people.

Cecilia started dancing at age four, and has spent the last six years coordinating a before-school care program and teaching children’s dance, as well as completing a Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications and Marketing.

Both hold current Working With Children cards, National Police Checks and Level 1 First Aid and are very excited to be bringing Mini Beats to as many children as they can!
